I'm Paul Lonardo, aka DooM XII.
First and foremost, I'll be honest.... Writing a bio is not my strong point...
I own Witching Hour Tattoo in Warwick, Rhode Island. I started off my career in the industry back in 2006 as a body piercer, and shortly after also started tattooing.
I grew up looking up to artists like Stephen Gammell (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark), Frank Frazetta and then so many amazing artists that did work for Magic The Gathering early on (swamp cards were my favorite to try to redraw as a kid), as a teenager I discovered street art/graffiti and that really influenced my style - Trying to blend dark art with the cartoony nature of graffiti and that heavily influences my style of tattooing to this day.
In my personal life, you will usually catch me at hardcore/metal/punk shows, riding my motorcycles, hanging out with my cats, watching horror movies, painting, or exploring abandoned places.

Paul is not only a great artist but a great guy, really easy guy to talk to and be around which is a lot more important than people realize when you're getting a tattoo! The other Artist Witching Hour has in shop is also a a great conversation and a good vibe.
